That perhaps he could just lose himself in the music and not think about all of that for a little while. But Jaskier also recognizes that may simply be too much too soon right now. In fact, it most likely is and regardless of how safe he might feel with Jaskier, that's not going to be enough to counteract whatever else is going on in his head.]
